A Perfect View

We had a great spring break and I am very sad we need to return to normal busy life :).  But I did get some scrappin' accomplished and we had lots of fun at the Cincinnati nature center and playing outside.
We went to the Newport Aquarium several years ago and it has a beautiful view of the Ohio river so we had to stop and enjoy the view!!  When the little ones decided to look into each others eyes through the lens I just had to snap a picture!! I was saving the picture for the perfect time to scrapbook and when the MFT scrap challenge came along I knew exactly which picture to use!

Here is the Sketch I used:

I have some exciting news!! I am looking into going back to school to finish the degree I started a loooooong time ago.  Problem is I don't know what I want to be when I grow up!! LOL  Seriously!  I thinking about computer aided design or social work, thankfully I go see an advisor next week and hopefully they can help give me ideas.  Wish me luck!!

Have a great week!

Springtime wishes!

So here is a card from a previous weeks sketch challenge-see, I was really late posting it ;).  I made this for a dear friend that I am late on sending for her birthday- since we are so ready for spring but the weather still thinks we should be in winter I thought I would try to encourage spring to fight back ;)
Sorry about the bad pic, I am a little out of practice and I need to find a good place to take them with natural light.

                      The MFT sketch:

As you can see I turned the sketch and I thought the circle would be a great Sunrise for my girl!!

MFT Sweet Friend

I love playing the sketch challenge and lately I have played along but didn't post in time to get entered for a chance to win MFT $$ so I was so excited when the stars aligned and I was able to sit and make a card.
Things have been crazy around here, my brother went into the hospital with liver failure and needless to say I was scared to death. We are really close and when I heard that I was expecting the worst, I totally freaked out. So with his week stay and all the ups and downs that entails and trying to take care of my family was rough. He is home now but in great need of prayers. His liver is still considered in failure but making tiny improvements here and there. The Drs. are stumped and he had all kinds of test including a liver biopsy but he still doesn't have a diagnosis. So please think of him and send healing to him.
So off to the good stuff. I got to play with some new goodies and BOY it was fun!

Here is the sketch this week at My Favorite Things:

Well I couldn't stay away too long from blogging!! I recently gave it up due to life, not enough time to craft and post and it stressed me out a little knowing I had a blog sitting there not being updated!! LOL So this time around I am going to be way more relaxed and update it when I can and when I can't I am sure anyone will understand! ;)

So I have always enjoyed creating things either crocheting (since my home economics class in 7th grade) or scrapbooking and stamping.  So I will share my creations of both on this blog along with some other ramblings!!

Life is good here I have recently been a little busy crafter making hats for my little ones.  I will share pics later.

Have a great weekend!
